Résumé des résultats (Abstract)
(Anglais)
The objective of the project is to develop innovative solutions to manufacture a new generation of modular elements (M-CTE) for power, light or current transmission that will be coated with a polymeric material, which will protect the transmission elements from their environment and also provide traction capabilities. The M-CTE will be composed of several single modules that will be welded together to form multifunctional elements according to the requirements of the application. Such system will be very cost effective and give the opportunity to end-users to adapt the configuration of the M-CTE directly to their needs. Furthermore it will open a new era by introducing a robust multifunctional smart system that would not only act as a mechanical power transmission element, but also as a functional element.
