Résumé des résultats (Abstract)
(Allemand)
In this CTI project, ETH Zurich and LiberoVision AG will investigate and design novel methods for the synthesis of 3D virtual scenes during dynamic camera flights. The goal is to extend the currently static scene captured at a certain point in time to a dynamic scene which allows virtual camera flights over time. This requires time consistent synthesis of a dynamic scene from the camera images. Research will focus on how information from different views and at different points in time can be acquired and assembled to a consistent high-quality dynamic scene. Market research has shown that this extension meets the demands of our customers. Furthermore, this will extend our technological lead in virtual replays.
