Abstract (French)

Vulvovaginal candidiasis is a common vaginal infection. Pevion Biotech developes a vaccine against candidal vulvovaginitis. An intravaginal immunization confers protection in an animal challenge model. At present, no vaginal vaccines are available. The goal of this project is the development of a vaginal vaccine delivery system. In particular, a vaginal formulation with desired characteristics in terms of safety, stability, ease of application, aestethics and costs will be developed and tested in animals, and will enter human clinical testing.
