Résumé des résultats (Abstract)

The goal of this project is the measurement of the dielectric properties of human cells, such as erythrocytes, using microelectrode based single cell impedance measuring techniques and microelectronic technologies. In order to further enhance measurement sensitivity and therefore minimise the risks in the development of the Solianis Monitoring non-invasive continuous glucose monitoring technology, we need to improve the understanding of the mechanisms underlying the in vivo developments and allow the in vitro concepts to be tested on the in vivo data. These results can also lead to a technology for an early diagnostic tool in providing further insights into the multiple characteristics of metabolic syndrome, by measuring changes in the behaviour of dielectric properties (for example in erythrocytes) in response to glucose exposure in vitro.
