Abstract
(English)
The objective of the study is to carry out a detailed analysis of the European Commission’s (EC) agricultural offer when it comes to bilateral free trade agreements with selected trade partners, i.e. Turkey, Chile, South Africa, Mexico and the Mediterranean countries (Morocco, Jordan, Tunisia, Isreal). The study will highlight how the EC agricultural offer evolved over time and how it related to successive waves of domestic reforms implemented since the early 1990s. It will also compare the level of ambition contained in the EC agricultural offer with the Swiss/EFTA offer. The concessions that differ substancially between the two agricultural schedules will be identified.
