The Political Affairs Division IV, Section for Humanitarian Policy and Migration (HUPO), launches a concise overview-study on the interrelations between the three phenomena climate change, migration and conflict. In close collaboration with the PD IV, the research institute Swisspeace/HUSEC will gather information on causal dependences, potentially affected regions and relevant policy-players with regard to the issue at stake, which may well serve as theoretical basis for further operational steps to be taken in the forthcoming year.
