The International Center for Transitional Jusitce (ICTJ), a strategic partner of the Political Division IV (PD IV), is about to publish two books relating to two different aspects of dealing with the past and transitional justice. One is about "The Role of Gender in Reparations Efforts for Victims of Mass Human Rights", the other is treating the issue of "Vetting as a Measure of Transitional Justice". These projects are an attempt to articulate an understanding of those two understudied factes of transitional justice.
Objectifs du projet

The overall objective of both projects is to deepen our understanding of how societies deal with past human rights abuses through specific and innovative transitional justice policies.
