The overall aim of this retreat (4-6 March '07) was to establish space for joint learning, reflection and exchange of experiences of track 1.5 practitioners. Further objectives were:
-To identify joint perspective on good practice, effective processes and useful principles of work;
- To encourage and deepen cooperation and networking among the participating organisations, both among members of the "Private Diplomacy" network and with Swiss facilitators and Peace-building experts.
Two themes were also highlighted:
- Track 1.5 as a soft power approach;
- Linking track 1.5 with track 1 and/or track 3 activities.
