The project has the objective of developing a better understanding of the economic transformations in the transition from armed conflict to Peacebuilding, and their effect on peace processes as well as to develop tools in the support of mediators and peacemakers.

PSIS Occasional Papers: The Programme for Strategic and International Security Studies (PSIS) is a self-governing and independent academic institution financed by the Swiss Confederation and the Canton of Geneva. The PSIS is incorporated into the Graduate Institute of International Studies (HEI) at the University of Geneva and conducts a variety of academic and policy-orientated initiatives. The occasional papers issued by PSIS discuss security and conflict issues of international importance.
