Description succincte (Français)

The peace policy programme in Colombia dates back, in its current form, to 2002. It has developed in the last three years in the framework of a mid-term concept 2004 – 2007. It is the first external evaluation of the programme, the second of a DP IV peace policy programme after the Guatemala one, carried out in 2006. The objective is to verify the effectiveness of the programme to carry out its aim of fostering a lasting peace in Colombia through a multi-track approach made of single projects. The outcome will be a report that should give ground to a thoughtful management response applying the optimization of the resources of the programme. It will at the same time provide an enriching experience for all participants and stakeholders on conflict transformation and peace promotion.

En particulier, a été souligné le rôle « transcendantal » de la Suisse dans l’introduction des sujets de la justice transitionnelle et du traitement du passé dans l’agenda du processus de démobilisation et réinsertion des groupes paramilitaires.

Le programme SUIPPCOL, reconnu comme l’élément le plus complexe de l’ensemble du programme, a donné quant à lui des résultats très satisfaisants.
