Externe Evaluation der Aktivitäten der Genfer Nichtregierungsorganisation "Genève pour les Droits de l'Homme" im Rahmen des Erarbeitungs- und Umsetzungsprozesses des nationalen Menschenrechtsaktionsplanes der mexikanischen Regierung (2004-2007). Ziele der Evaluation waren die Wirksamkeitsüberprüfung, die Dokumentation der Prozesse und Empfehlungen zur Stärkung der Institution und Optimierung der Projekt-Aktivitäten.

Executive summary/ Recommendation (English)

The participation of "Genève pour les Droits de l'Homme" in the establishment, implementation, and execution of
the follow up and evaluation mechanism of the human rights action plan of the Mexican government, which crystallized in the creation of a monitoring commission composed of representatives of civil society and government is
considered by the Evaluator as of very high importance, based on the contributions and
results obtained by Genève pour les Droits de l'Homme.
It is desirable to maintain efforts to relaunch a process for the drafting of the National Human Rights Programm 2006-2012. This should be done through seminars aimed at increasing the knowledge of participants, by establishing mediation mechanisms between civil society and the government and by adopting agreements that could lead to the resumption of the process.
