Vorliegende Studie untersucht die Realisierbarkeit von landwirtschaftlichen Kleinbiogasanlagen in der Schweiz. Im Rahmen dieser Studie wurde eine standardisierte Kleinbiogasanlage entworfen, welche den heutigen Ansprüchen genügt. Diverse bestehende Anlagen, welche hauptsächlich in den 70er- und 80er-Jahren gebaut wurden, sind im Rahmen dieser Studie besichtigt und technisch analysiert worden. Eine Wirtschaftlichkeitsberechnung der entworfenen Kleinbiogasanlage wurde durchgeführt. Es hat sich gezeigt, dass die Rahmenbedingungen für Kleinbiogasanlagen nach wie vor sehr schlecht sind. Nur eine deutliche Erhöhung der Stromeinspeisegebühren könnte einen rentablen Betrieb der Anlagen ermöglichen. Gaseinspeisung ins Erdgasnetz und ausschliessliche Wärmeproduktion sind heute bei Kleinanlagen wirtschaftlich kaum realisierbar. Viele Betreiber von bestehenden Kleinbiogasanlagen wurden befragt. Es hat sich gezeigt, dass nur sehr wenige ehemalige Betreiber von stillgelegten Anlagen eine Wiederinbetriebnahme ihrer Anlage für technisch möglich halten und diese wenig Interesse daran haben. Viel eher sind sie am Neubau einer Biogasanlage interessiert. Von den Anlagen, welche heute noch in Betrieb sind, möchte kaum ein Betreiber die Anlage in näherer Zukunft stilllegen. Diverse Betreiber erwägen jedoch den Ausbau ihrer bestehenden Kleinbiogasanlage.

The aim of this study is to examine the feasibility of smaller, agricultural biogas plants in Switzerland. An integral part of this survey was the designing of a standardised small biogas plant, according to the state of the art. Several existing plants - which have mainly been built in the 70s and 80s - have been accounted for in this survey and were technically analysed. A calculation of the profitability of the projected biogas plants has been carried out. The survey showed that the general conditions for smaller plants are still rather poor. Only a consider-able rise of the feed-in tariff of the produced green power would allow a profitable operation of such plants. The purification of biogas to supply into the natural gas grid as well as using the biogas exclusively for the production of heat, are barely profitable for such plants at present. Many operators of existing, smaller agricultural plants have been interviewed. The survey showed that only few former operators of disused plants do believe that a reconnection of their plant is technically possible. Most of them do not take stock in such a reconnection but are interested in a new biogas plant. The operators of plants which are in use generally do not intend to shut down their plant in the near future. Most of the operators do - on the contrary - consider an extension or renewal of their existing agricultural biogas plant.

L'étude présente évalue la viabilité des installations agricoles de biogaz de petite puissance en Suisse. Dans le cadre de cette étude, une installation standardisée de petite puissance a été projetée. Cette installation veut satisfaire les prétentions d'un exploitant moderne. Plusieurs installations, qui ont été construites dans les années soixante-dix et quatre-vingt, ont été visitées et analysées du point de vue technique. Un calcul de rentabilité de l'installation de biogaz de petite puissance a été effectué. On a pu constater que la situation cadre pour des installations de petite puissance est toujours très mauvaise. Sans une augmentation importante des tarifs de rémunération pour l'alimentation du réseau électrique, une exploitation rentable des installations n'est pas possible. L'injection directe du biogaz dans le réseau de gaz et la production unique de chaleur ne sont aujourd'hui presque pas réalisables par rapport à sa rentabilité. Beaucoup d'exploitants d'installations existantes de biogaz de petite puissance ont été interrogés. On a pu constater qu'une minorité des anciens exploitants d'installations abandonnées ont l'impression que leur installation peut être remise en marche. L'intérêt pour l'assainissement des installations abandonnées est très petit. Les anciens exploitants sont plutôt intéressés à construire une nouvelle installation. Les exploitants des installations qui sont encore en marche ne prévoient pas l'arrêt de leur installation dans les prochaines années. Plusieurs exploitants envisagent de moderniser leur installation existante de petite puissance.
