Résumé des résultats (Abstract) (Anglais)	The project consists in developing orbital shake bioreactors using single-use cell culture bags for working volumes up to 1'000 L. Fluid dynamics, oxygen transfer and power input will be mainly investigated together with more practical engineering aspects for the design and construction of pilot- and production-scale prototypes. As a result, the technology is expected to be clearly more flexible and cost-effective than standard equipment used in industrial bioprocessing, which should create excellent market opportunities.

The project consists in developing orbital shake bioreactors using single-use cell culture bags for working volumes up to 1'000 L. Fluid dynamics, oxygen transfer and power input will be mainly investigated together with more practical engineering aspects for the design and construction of pilot- and production-scale prototypes. As a result, the technology is expected to be clearly more flexible and cost-effective than standard equipment used in industrial bioprocessing, which should create excellent market opportunities.
