Abstract (Englisch)

We aim to develop an industrially applicable route for producing copper-based composites with a high fraction of light reinforcement particles, and to use this route towards the design of a machinable isotropic copper-based composite featuring a density significantly lower than that of copper together with attractive mechanical properties.
