CollaBoard - Interactive electronic whiteboard with a video overlay of the remote partner (people on content) for an improved support of collaborative work in geographically distributed teams.
Abstract
(Deutsch)
The proposed EUREKA project 'CollaBoard' will develop, design, and evaluate a setup for the improved support of collaborative work between geographically distributed teams. If two CollaBoards are interconnected via a network, the groups will have a common interactive vertical digital workspace. Superimposing the live video of the remote partner (people on content) also allows the transfer of Meta information such as gestures, etc., resulting in a more intuitively distributed collaborative teamwork.
