Modul 1:
Ermitteln, aus welcher Biomasse (landwirtschaftliche Rohstoffe) sich in der Schweiz welche Energieformen zu welchen Kosten produzieren lassen.
Modul 2:
Quantifizierung der Wirkungen der Produktion von Erdölsubstituten aus Biomasse auf den Schweizer Agrarsektor mittels eines integrierten landwirtschaftlichen Allokationsmodells (S-INTAGRAL). Basis: verschiedene Szenarien für die relevanten Umfeldfaktoren in den kommenden Jahren.

Module 1:
Investigate which forms of energy at which level of costs can be produced in Switzerland out of biomass (agriculture raw materials).
Module 2:
Quantify the effects of the production of oil-substitutes from biomass on Swiss agriculture using an integrated agriculture allocation model (S-INTAGRAL). Basis: different scenarios for the relevant environment for the next years.

Abschätzung der eintretenden Wirkungen auf die Schweizer Landwirtschaft bezüglich Produktion von Energie aus Biomasses in der Schweiz und bezüglich Auswirkungen der globalen Bioenergieproduktion.

Assess the effects on Swiss agriculture in terms of the production of energy from biomass in Switzerland and in terms of impacts of the global production of bioenetgy.

Das Projekt befindet sich in der Startphase (September 2007). Das Modul 1 wird im Laufe des Jahres 2007 abgeschlossen. Das Modul 2 wird voraussichtlich im Frühjahr 2008 beendet.

The project is currently in the starting phase (september 2007). The module 1 will be terminated in the course of 2007. The module 2 ist expected to be terminates in spring 2008.
