Résumé des résultats (Abstract) (Anglais)	The task of the project is to create a scratch-resistant and anti-finger-print coating for the elements of watches (case, strap, buckle,..). The objective of this project is to reduce the not conform components and thus to reduce the costs of purchase and production of the components, to facilitate the assembly and to improve the lifespan of the watches on the markets, while preserving the current aesthetic aspect. The coating has to be transparent, optical neutral and the haptics of the material should not be affected by the coating. In order to fulfil these requirements a sol-gel coating is developed. Sol-gel coatings allow to combine inorganic qualities (like hardness) with organic qualities (like elasticity or dirt repellent properties). Further they are cheap and easy to apply.
