Current projects on measures for malaria control include:

Trials of candidate vaccines in Africa and in Papua New Guinea
Development of potential new vaccine components and innovative vaccine technologies.

Use of insecticide-treated bednets for malaria control in rural Tanzania; distribution using social marketing methods; long-term effects on child health and survival.
