Résumé des résultats (Abstract)

The problem of deburring complex workpieces is not yet solved in a satisfying way. The problem of burrs mostly emerges from the intersection of holes, by this disposing the burrs at spots that are difficult to access. The main financing partner as well as the scientific community sees a lot of improving potential in this field. The problem is the following: After the cycle through the machining center the workpieces have to be deburred by hand or re-clamped on a specialized machine, by this losing time and all precision. A previous feasibility study has shown different concepts of kinematics that match the requirements. The results of this first study are very promising and both parties are very motivated to explore a hybrid concept for deburring and to build a prototype to verify its performances. The goal of this project is to design, manufacture and evaluate a prototype of a hybrid 5-axes concept for the automated deburring of complex trajectories.
