Abstract (English)	Straight optical connections between two small form-factor multi-fiber connectors using Silicon V-grooves and micro-lens arrays were successfully realized. In this new project, the innovative solution will be extended to angled optical connections. The achieved results will contribute to the development of compact, angled (i.e. 90 degree) optical interconnections between fibers, where limited space is available, as well as to compact folded optical connectivity products to connect fiber arrays to active optical elements such as vertical cavity surface emitting lasers and photo detector arrays.

Abstract
