Abstract (English)	The Smart Electrodes discovery project aims at developing a new stimulation electrode technology, which enables improved methods and applications for transcutaneous (surface) electrical stimulation (TES). The main goals are the development and testing of new electrode materials that allow the integration of TES electrodes into garments or clothing. From the new TES electrode technology we expect improved control of the stimulation current distribution, increased stimulation and wear comfort, increased muscle selectivity, and the possibility to enable a variety of new applications
