The project is a continuation of KTI projects 4884.1 and aims primarily to include dynamic wedges and intensity modulated fields in Monte Carlo (MC) based treatment planning. Methods for MC treatment planning for static fields (including blocks, wedges and multileaf collimator) were developed in project 4884.1. These methods will be extended and generalized to include standard dynamic wedges and intensity modulated fields. Procedures to adapt the existing accelerator beam model to individual accelerators of the same type will also be developed. The results of this project will be implemented in the treatment planning system ECLIPSE of Varian
