Antioxidant sensors for healthcare monitoring

Abstract (French)

The objectives of the project no. 6425.1 MTS-LI are to develop an electrochemical sensor to monitor the antioxidant power contained in a biological fluid such as saliva or blood. The present extension is to finalise the methodology recently developed jointly bewteen Edel Therapeutics and EPFL. The novel sensor under study provides an integrative measure of the antioxidant content of a fluid. This project entails the fabrication of a prototype measuring device, the fabrication and test of screen printed electrodes.
