Abstract (Englisch)	The Processor Architecture Laboratory (LAP) of EPFL has been pioneering research on automatic embedded processor customization. For this work LAP researchers have received in the last years one Best Paper Award and nominations in top design automation conferences. A new patent has been filed in January and another one will be filed by May 2006. Mimosys endeavours to bring this technology to the market and has successfully attracted the interest of the world leader of customizable embedded processors. In this project, LAP and Mimosys will jointly productize the core LAP technology inclusive of all the latest research results developed at LAP.
