Résumé des résultats (Abstract) (Anglais)	The aim of this project is to improve specific properties of a thermoplastic matrix reinforced with nanoclays. Since surface properties and effects of nanoclays are predominant over bulk properties, new processing technologies will be developed to obtain compounds with totally different properties compared with usual resins. In parallel with experimental activity, a novel numerical simulation technique will be performed in order to study and optimise he properties of the resulting nanostructured composite materials in a systematic way.
