Résumé des résultats (Abstract) (Anglais)	The long-term repair of meniscal lesions is still unsatisfactory. Successful regeneration of hyaline cartilage employing the Chondro-Gide® and autologous chondrocyte transplantation (ACT), has precipitated the concept of an ACT-based tissue-guided reconstruction of meniscus. An in vivo safety animal study and in vitro studies to identify the best clinically relevant cell source for meniscal fibrocartilage regeneration will be performed. Results will identify future avenues towards development of the tissue engineered fibrocartilage for clinical trials.
