Abstract (English)	While ordinary fluorescent lamps and white light emitting diodes (LEDs) are more efficient than other lighting systems, they provide lower light and color qualities. To optimize their spectral quality, new hybrid organic-inorganic color-changing pigments are proposed. By embedding these pigments in polymer multi-layers, new color-changing films will be realized that can improve the emission spectrum (and in some cases the luminous efficiency) of fluorescent lamps and white-light LEDs.

While ordinary fluorescent lamps and white light emitting diodes (LEDs) are more efficient than other lighting systems, they provide lower light and color qualities.
