Abstract (Englisch)	The MEMSORS project aims at the implementation of micro-machined electrostatic membrane technology in advanced medical diagnostic imaging products like ultrasonic imaging catheter for the diagnosis of cardiac disorders. A new design of intra-cardiac catheter will be performed including dedicated analog signal modules, specific interconnect means and optimized packaging. The MEMSORS project has industrial objectives focusing on high volume and cost efficient markets where competing technologies have reached their limits. The project results will allow Hybrid SA to produce medical electronics for next generation of ultrasonic miniature transducers while becoming a manufacturer of electronic hybrids for medical devices.
