Résumé des résultats (Abstract)
(Anglais)
The subject of the proposed project is the development of a catalytic reactor for the evaporation of liquid fuels by partial oxidation. The process is designated as Catalytic Evaporation (CATVAP). Presently, conventional catalysts are used in this process. Advanced catalysts, for example Platinum nanoparticles, will be investigated in the project. A low power light fuel oil burner using CATVAP will be developed. Further applications of CATVAP are stationary fuel cell reformers. The development has the potential of being applied in other areas, for example automobile exhaust gas control.
