Abstract (English)	Although soil conditioning is routinely used in the tunneling practice, neither chemical nor mechanical mechanisms of the interaction of agents with soils are well understood and the techniques for mechanical characterization of soil-chemicals mixtures are largely empirical. The proposed research will improve the understanding of the chemical-mechanical interactions and will produce a standardizable intelligent procedure for testing and development of more efficient, economic and environmentally friendly chemicals for soil conditioning.
