Résumé des résultats (Abstract)
(Anglais)
The main objectives of this project are to analyze the bottlenecks that can appear in large scale video surveillance systems, to model and simulate large networks of cameras, and to design effective delivery schemes for the complete storage of full quality video sequences generated by multiple cameras, and their occasional rendering on heterogeneous clients, distributed over an hardly predictable, heterogeneous and possibly varying network infrastructure. At the end of the project, it should be possible to simulate very large scale cameras systems, to detect bottlenecks and to propose efficient solutions for adaptive media information delivery.
