Abstract (Englisch)	We will realise centimetre-size flat pumps in glass and plastic materials, characterized by a flow range from 0.5 ml/min up to 15 ml/min. The reciprocating micropumps are composed of a stack of thin substrates that are microstructured by powder blasting, bonded and assembled with a flexible magnetically actuated membrane. The pumps will be valveless for low flow and backpressure applications and with integrated check-valves for higher pressure. The possibility of rapid prototyping, the simple construction, small size and the use of inert glass or disposable plastic materials are key advantages of the proposed micropumps.

The reciprocating micropumps are composed of a stack of thin substrates that are microstructured by powder blasting, bonded and assembled with a flexible magnetically actuated membrane.
