The Development of Antistatic Materials Based on Nanostructured Conducting Polymers and Nanocomposites
Abstract
(French)
Antistatic coatings are used to remove static electricity. Composites of conducting polymers with inorganic materials are especially attractive candidates for this use. Certain well aligned and oriented nanostructured polymers can show better processability and conductivities higher than the conventionally synthesized conducting polymers. This project will prepare and characterize nanostructured conducting polymers in different morphologies. Nanocomposites based on such polymers will be prepared and studied for applications as antistats.
