Abstract (English)	For suppliers of multimedia (MM) equipment for the PC and Consumer Electronics market, wireless interconnection of MM systems (Audio, Video, Pictures, Data) is a question of economic survival. This project aims at integrating current wireless technologies into the reprogrammable Hardware architecture of BridgeCo¿s nextgeneration chip/software turnkey solutions. In order to stay competitive in the near future, research on higherbandwidth wireless networking solutions is required. MIMO techniques offer promising approaches which have to be specifically adapted to the MM requirements and environment of BridgeCo¿s future products.
