Abstract
(English)
The main task of the present project is the enhancement of the critical current densities in the intermediate field range (12T ¿ 16T) in view of a larger market penetration, in particular for compact high field magnets, accelerator agnets and magnets for future Tokamak fusion reactors. The main industrial benefit will be: the increase of competitiveness of bronze route wires against other fabrication methods (e.g. Internal Sn Diffusion and Powder in Tube), where recent progress was reported.
