Short description (English)	The purpose of CN-MET is to provide meteorological information used in connection with the security around Swiss NPP's in case of a nuclear hazard. The new concept combines a specific measurements network with a fine grid meteorological model. The network consists of ground based stations and remote sensing systems (wind and temperature profilers), producing real time input data and boundary conditions for the forecasting model. The model, aLMo2, is a zoom-in version of the MeteoSwiss prediction model aLMo7, with a horizontal mesh size of 2 km.
