The project focuses on a survey of existing Islamist movements and organisations with the aim to show them within their political and social context. The survey is tailored to practical needs and shall potentially open the way for sustained contacts or limited cooperation with some of the movements on subjects of common interest.

The project will help identify possible dialogue partners for Western governments in specific projects on different levels of formality and in different thematic areas.
