Die Rahmenbedingungen für die Milch- und Fleischproduktion in der Schweiz verändern sich in Zukunft stark. Für den Milchmarkt und die Milchproduktion sind die Aufhebung der Milchkontingentierung sowie der Abbau und die Umlagerung der Milchstützung im Rahmen der Agrarpolitik 2011 von Bedeutung. Der Fleischmarkt ist dagegen vor allem von einer allfälligen Liberalisierung des Marktzutrittes in den WTO-Verhandlungen betroffen. Die Anpassungen bei den Rahmenbedingungen werden zu Strukturveränderungen in der Schweizer Landwirtschaft führen. Für die Ausgestaltung der agrar- und marktpolitischen Massnahmen ist deshalb einerseits eine Untersuchung der erwarteten Angebotsveränderungen notwendig. Andererseits braucht es eine Abschätzung der Veränderungen auf den Milch- und Fleischmarkt, wobei die Marktentwicklung wiederum mit den Produktionsstrukturen und der Entwicklung des Sektors Landwirtschaft zu verbinden ist.

The general conditions for milk and meat production in Switzerland are undergoing fundamental changes. The abolition of milk quotas and the reduction and transformation of the milk market support as anticipated in agricultural policy 2011 will significantly affect the milk market. The meat market, on the other hand, will be influenced by possible liberalisation in the course of WTO negotiations. Adaptations to changing general conditions will lead to structural changes in Swiss agriculture. On the one hand, an investigation of anticipated changes in structures and supply is essential for the formulation of agricultural and market policy measures. On the other hand, an assessment of changes in the milk and meat market is also necessary, whereby market developments must be viewed within the context of developments affecting both production structures and the agricultural sector as a whole.

Objectifs du projet (Allemand)

Das Projekt hat zwei Ziele: 1. Abschätzung der Entwicklung des Milch- und Fleischmarktes unter verschiedenen Rahmenbedingungen, und 2. Abschätzung der sektoralen Auswirkungen bezüglich landwirtschaftlicher Produktion, Direktzahlungsbedarf und Einkommensentwicklung.

Objectifs du projet (Anglais)

The project has two objectives: 1. Evaluation of the development on the Swiss milk and meat market under different basic conditions; and 2. Assessment of the sectoral impact with regard to production structures, the need for direct payments and income development.
