The purpose of this research study is to gain quantitative and qualitative knowledge on the structural adhesive and fibre reinforced polymer (FRP) composites suitable for the on-site reparation of timber structures. The goal of the project is the assessment of an innovative designing procedure, able to overcome the disadvantages derived from the utilization of traditional steel rods or plates.
