Le projet concerne la fabrication, la modélisation et les mesures des propriétés optiques des cristaux photoniques avec deux objectifs précis: 1) La compréhension et le contrôle des pertes par diffraction hors plan et dans des structures cristaux photoniques planaires et 2) La physique de la propagation de la lumière dans des stuctures cristaux photoniques planaires, notamment effet dit de réfraction négative, superprisme etc...

Abstract (Englisch)

The project is concerned with the fabrication, modelling and measurement of optical properties of photonic crystals with a focus on two aspects: 1) the understanding and control of out of plan diffraction losses in planar photonic crystals and 2) the physics of light propagation of Bloch modes in photonic crystals notably negative refraction, self collimation and superprism effects.
