The company SBIT is a start-up company (CTI start up admission, coach M. Becciolini) that set-up the concept of a novel atmospheric plasma process. The so-called plasma torch reactor allows to decompose molecular gases in the torch and exposes the adjacent surface with a high flux of radicals without the dissipation of high temperatures. The process stands at the beginning of a big variety of industrial processes that have the potential to be further exploited based on this process in terms of higher throughput and/or higher reliability. Within the process we will focus the interest on three promising aspects: 1) Textile fibre treatment 2) Photoresist stripping 3) Surface treatment prior to gluing
