R&D of intelligent and high-temperature, corrosion & fatigue resistant thermoplastic composite coiled tubing for the efficient and cost-effective exploration of hydrocarbons. Embedded electrical power conductors for a remote controlled electric drilling motor. Fibre optic sensing system to monitor the well, operation and structural integrity of the coil. Virtual insensitive to fatigue. Research on chemical ageing. Modify existing CT software and integration of control software. Concept prototype field-testing. Applications: drilling, workovers and intelligent well completions. Substantial cost savings, compact and low-noise equipment, major reduction of rock cuttings & power exhaust. Extended horizontal reach due to lightweight coil. Less rigs, smaller rigs, rig-less. Preservation of protected and inhabited areas. Increased reliability & safety. Improved working conditions. 100% recycling possible. Multiple Spin-offs.
