In the framework of this project an international research project competition on energy theme for future European scientists will be carried out. The best research project writers will be invited at Tallinn Technology and Science Centre ENERGY to present their projects with illustrative material (photos, videos, web-pages) on an open Conference celebrating the European S&T Week 2001. The consortium also produces scientific merriment programs and the intensive media coverage of the event will introduce the science centre conception all the Baltic States. The participating teams (consisting of 3 youngsters and a teacher) will enjoy working together and co-operating with experienced researchers on energy field. There will also be press conferences and mixed team quizzes for the participants. The whole event will be videotaped and disseminated as web page to partners and as agreed with EC.

To raise public awareness about science and its everyday value: to catch young people's, their parents' and teachers' attention to the excitement that science has about it, so that more young people will choose it as a profession;
- To encourage women to participate in science and science related activities;
- To motivate young European scientifically minded people to think creatively and encourage co-operation between them;
- To promote the science centres in Estonia, and raise interest to create similar centres in Baltic region, to help them to develop and become equal partners in the European network of science centres;
- To promote the idea the social roles the science centres carry (alternative for youth to spend their spare time, thus keeping them away from street violence, drugs;
- To draw attention of local Governments and potential donors among businessmen, so that they would start or continue supporting science centres and their projects.
