Résumé des résultats (Abstract)
(Anglais)
In high temperature technology materials are subjected to a complex interaction of temperature changes and oxidative/corrosive high temperature attack. To simulate this situation in the laboratory the cyclic oxidation test is the most widely used in industry. However no standards or code of practice exist.

Therefore the work of the project consists in:
1) quantification of the influence of test parameter variability on test results;
2) development and validation of a comprehensive and reliable code of practice for this important test with three variants representing the major industrial applications;
3) submission of the code to CEN/TC 262 as part of work item 00262140 'High Temperature Corrosion Testing' at the end of the project.

The project consortium includes partners from industry and academia from 11 European countries including 2 pre-accession states and provides all the necessary key knowledge.
