Résumé des résultats (Abstract) (Anglais)

The Thematic Network aims at becoming a focal point of reference for Industries (with particular attention to Small and Medium Enterprises), consultants and Owner Organisations with a need for transfer of knowledge and technology in the fields of assessment, monitoring and control of structures. The activity will be related to buildings and bridges under seismic and other environmental loads. Other major aims are to contribute to the European Research Area by networking Research Centres and Universities and to support international collaboration, by setting up an Information Dissemination Centre in conjunction with a database. This shall actively contribute to the management of technologies developed under European Frameworks and improve the European position in this important field.
