Résumé des résultats (Abstract) (Anglais)	Ezetimibe, marketed since October 2002, is the first example of a drug which inhibits intestinal cholesterol uptake. Based on the ezetimibe structure, a variety of novel structural analogues will be synthesized and tested with respect to their inhibition of cholesterol absorption making use of Lipideon Biotechnology AG¿s unique in vitro screening technology. The goal of the project is to develop an investigational new drug candidate with an ADMET profile significantly better than the one of ezetimibe.
