Abstract (Englisch)

Analysis of body fluids is a most exciting frontier in analytical chemistry However, this is hindered by the abundant proteins, which obscure minor components. We will use state-of-the-art technology to make affinity reagents specific for abundant protein These will be used for selective filtration prior to mass spectrometric investigations. The methods will be validated and applied in the framework of metabonomic mass spectrometry studies at Novartis
