Together with external experts, the GCIHD will use draft a guide on Understanding Mine Action. The Guide will serve as a basic grounding to the diplomat, donor, lawyer, practitioner or scholar in the key aspects of mine action. It will not be an operational handbook, rahter an information resource that can also assist in decision-making, programme planning and research.

Projektziele (Englisch)

The guide shall be distributed at the Fifth Meeting of the States Parties to the Anti-Personnel Mine Ban Convention (to take place in Bangkok from 15-19. September 2003)
