Résumé des résultats (Abstract) (Anglais)

Until now, more than 25'000 pathologies have been identified but only a few thousand have an effective treatment. Of all proteins expressed by living organisms, proteases are among the most important in mediating pathways of cell life and death. Among the 400 different human proteases already identified, it is estimated that about 15% would play a major role in the pathogenicity of human diseases which makes them attractive targets for drug development.
