COST-Action 270 - Reliability of Optical Components and Devices in Communication Systems and Networks

Short description (English)

The project wants to acquire and compile new knowledge on photonic device reliability. We are going to particularly target the reliability of semiconductor light emitting and amplifying devices that can be used for optical telecommunications in the near infrared. Our method will consist of internal company investigations on lifetime and of collaboration in the frame of COST 270.
